Our story so far...
Hello, Welcome to The Little Book Boutique. Reading has always been a passion of mine and it has been my dream to one day open my very own book store. During the Covid 19 pandemic, like many, I reflected on life and I decided to take the leap and follow my passion of books combined with a love of reading with children and so The Little Book Boutique was born.
As a mum to two children Nikhil (11) and Priya (9) my fondest memories are reading to them and with them. Many of us know the benefits of reading with babies and children are endless; it’s a truly special time to create memories, bond, spark imagination develop language skills and improve wellbeing. By positively introducing books from an early age and engaging in literature with babies and children we are nurturing and inspiring a lifelong love of books and reading. Teaching our children to read is a life skill however inspiring play, imagination, reading, storytelling, understanding of the world around us, engaging in debate and vocabulary all though books develops many life skills and nurtures a love of reading and learning.
As a parent I also understand that as our children grow and their personalities develop it can become trickier to keep them engaged and interested in reading so let me help you find tailored book choices along with fun activities for whatever age or stage your child is at.

At the Little book Boutique we want to inspire children to love reading. Whether its introducing babies to the textures of cloth books, supporting small toddlers hands to turn book pages excitedly whilst reading and re reading everything on their book shelf, or a reluctant reader that has lost interest in reading and needs a fresh book to capture their imagination, we can support your reading needs and encourage your child to be inspired to read.
We believe reading should always be fun and sociable whatever age or stage your child is at. Reading together sparks conversation and debate, helps with expression and understanding, stretches the mind and is a fun activity that brings families together.
Our monthly book subscriptions come with prompts to help you get the most out of the books we send. Each book subscription is completely individual, we don’t offer a blanket one-size-fits-all. We will tailor our book choices to suit each child’s personality based on the information you provide.
For every book subscription sold we make a donation to Read for Good.
